Description:
As a Production Support Engineer at One Network Enterprises, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our software applications by analyzing and resolving client-reported issues. You will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound client communications, providing prompt responses and resolutions to technical and application-related issues, requests, or questions. Develop, maintain and support internet-based enterprise level supply chain applications.
What will you do:
- Develop code, scripts, extracts and other artifacts required to solve complex technical issues.
- Work either independently or with a group of highly skilled, high intellect support engineers to resolve customer and product issues.
- Communicate with Network Operations to identify and solve software issues.
- 30% development and 70% support
- Communicate current status of issues to the manager as necessary, based on severity and impact of the issue on the business.
- Interact with client services, professional services and other groups for troubleshooting efforts.
- Be proactive and inquisitive with a clear focus on problem solving.
- Must have flexibility with work hours and be able to provide on-demand support as required.
- Must be ready to be On Call 24X7 on a rotational basis.
- Document findings, including new product defects, and work with the Production Support team to create knowledge-based articles.

- J2EE Technologies: JDK1.4, J2EE, Servlets2.3, JSP1.2, EJB2.0, AJAX
- Java EE Servers: JBoss
- Framework: Struts
- Middle Tier: EJB, Web services
- Internet Technologies: Style sheets, XML, SAX & DOM API’s
- Tools: Jprofiler, LoadRunner
- Miscellaneous: SQL Skills, Shell Scripting, PL SQL
- Experience: 2 to 6 years
Education:
BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or Supply Chain or equivalent experience
